Fall 2026 Financial Aid Over-Refund Repayment Agreement

Option 1: Full Repayment by May 31, 2027
The Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance will be repaid in full no later than May 31, 2027.

Student understands that:

• No late fees will be assessed on the Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance through May 31, 2027.
• Payments may be made at any time before the deadline.
• If the balance is not paid in full by May 31, 2027, Washington State University may apply future
  eligible credit balances and refunds toward the debt and may pursue collection activities
  permitted under university policy and applicable law

Option 2: Future Refund Repayment Authorization
Student elects to retain the Fall 2026 over-refunded funds and authorize Washington State University to apply up to 100% of any eligible SUMMER 2027 financial aid credit balance or refund toward repayment of the Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance. If the Summer 2027 refund is insufficient to satisfy the debt in full, any remaining balance may be applied against subsequent eligible student account credit balances or refunds until the debt is fully repaid. The University shall determine the amount applied from each eligible credit balance or refund until the Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance has been satisfied in full.

Student understands that:

• Future financial aid refunds may be reduced or withheld until the balance has been repaid in full.
• Any remaining refund amount after application to the debt will be released to the student.
• If future refunds are insufficient to satisfy the balance, the student will remain responsible for repayment of any remaining balance due.
• This authorization will remain in effect until the Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance has been paid in full.
• If the student does not receive a Summer 2027 aid refund or otherwise fails to generate sufficient eligible credit balances to satisfy the Fall 2026 Over-Refund Balance, the remaining balance shall become immediately due and payable upon notice from the University.
